Born from a rescue dog with a picky stomach
Anchor Town Dogs started the way a lot of good things do — out of love and a little desperation. Our founder's rescue mutt, Anchor, would turn his nose up at every commercial treat on the shelf. So she started baking in her own kitchen.
One batch led to another, friends' dogs started showing up at the door, and before long, what began as a one-dog project became Anchorage's favorite spot for treats your dog can actually taste.
Today every recipe is still mixed by hand in small batches, using ingredients you'd find in your own pantry. No mystery powders. No unpronounceable additives. Just real food, baked slow, and loved thoroughly.
